Role Description

The Automotive Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at our Columbus, OH location. This position is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations, as well as diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles for safety and performance, completing suspension and brake repairs, and documenting all work performed in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

The Automotive Technician will collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure timely, accurate repairs and a positive service experience for all customers. The role also involves following safety guidelines, using diagnostic tools and equipment, and staying current with manufacturer training and technical updates.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in vehicle maintenance and routine service, including oil changes and basic inspections.
  • Candidates should possess skills in automotive repair and maintenance & repair, focusing on accurate diagnosis and efficient service.
  • Candidates should possess skills in suspension work, including inspection, repair, and replacement of related components.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, service procedures, and diagnostic data.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety practices, and ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with service advisors and other technicians.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
