Description
The Wasserstrom Company is one of the top Food Service Equipment and Supply Distributors in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family owned company with our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Our Purchasing Department has an opportunity available due to business growth for an Inventory Planner in Columbus, Ohio.
Responsibilities- Evaluating, planning, and releasing purchase orders to meet business requirements and objectives; monitoring delivery, including purchase order acknowledgements and expediting suppliers as may be required; resolving receiving and invoicing discrepancies; participating in new projects; product data entry and providing timely information and follow-up relating to delivery and availability.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- 2-4 years of inventory planning experience, and/or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent work knowledge.
- Ideal candidates will have AWR Procurement systems and/or SAP business software experience.
