This full‑time position serves as a strategic partner to the Personal Lines value chain and capability organizations, driving alignment between sales priorities and enterprise initiatives. It leads and governs multiple high‑impact sales enablement programs, with a strong focus on Salesforce strategy, scalable process design, and operational execution to enhance seller productivity and effectiveness. Ideal candidates bring deep experience in property & causality territory management and sales, with a proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority.

Intermediate or advanced Salesforce expertise is required, including process optimization, data integrity, reporting, and enablement use cases. Strong capabilities in end‑to‑end process development, continuous improvement, and change adoption are essential, along with expertise in sales operating models, CRM, agency reporting, marketing incentives, and related sales programs. This role is not eligible for employer‑sponsored work authorization, and Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program.

As a Senior Consultant, you'll contribute to the strategic vision and serve as a top‑level contributor for the most sophisticated business transformation initiatives.

You will be responsible for leading major process modeling, analysis and design efforts. You'll provide business performance management, organizational design and business risk management capabilities to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a top consultant on all activities relating to business transformation through the strategic application of people, processes and technology. Participate in complex planning processes across multiple departments or business units. Identify complexities, dependencies and duplications in the business model.
  • Act as top consultant on activities and functions relating to business process analysis, organizational analysis, needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis to align information technology solutions with business strategies and directions. Consult with functional groups within Nationwide Technology and internal business clients to develop long‑term systems plans.
  • Lead organizational process management and consultation between business customers and systems area for development and implementation of business processes and procedures. Communicate to customers, management and external sources.
  • Identify the critical elements of a business process that needs to be managed and define criteria of performance success. Select and apply appropriate performance measurement tools and report performance in a cohesive manner.
  • Contribute, as a subject matter authority, to the analysis and design of organizational structures, roles, responsibilities, governance, staffing and sourcing to support business goals, strategies and process architecture. Lead organization‑wide change.
  • Lead all aspects of training for customers on business, technological, societal and environmental trends to support strategies for improving business performance.
