ResponsibilitiesThe Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing procurement data, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. This role ensures cost efficiency, compliance, and process optimization by leveraging data-driven insights to improve procurement operations.
- Support development of category strategies.
- Support commodity managers with global spend analysis, supplier segmentation, and market intelligence to identify cost reduction, performance improvement, and consolidation opportunities
- Support RFx processes, ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and business alignment.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and risks.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership on spend analysis, supplier performance, and KPIs.
- Track supplier metrics such as delivery times, quality, and pricing.
- Assist in supplier evaluations and audits.
- Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and recommend improvements.
- Support automation and digitalization initiatives within procurement systems.
- Collaborate with sourcing, finance, and operations teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis roles.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data systems and artificial intelligence.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with procurement analytics and cost modeling.
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and supplier management.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
- Ability to work onsite in an office environment on a daily basis
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally (office materials, supplies, etc.)
- Ability to walk between manufacturing and administrative areas as needed
- Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, keyboard, phone, copier, etc.)
