Location:

The Reporting & Data Analytics Director is an individual contributor role responsible for delivering high-level analytics, reporting, and strategic insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This role requires deep expertise in healthcare cost drivers, contract evaluation, and total cost of care models. The Director operates as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, leveraging advanced analytical skills and healthcare business knowledge to shape strategies, set targets, and guide business partners.
While this position does not include direct people management, it requires strong influence, collaboration, and the ability to drive outcomes across a matrixed organization.
How You Will Make an Impact
* Apply expertise in healthcare cost drivers and trend measurement to guide contract analysis and financial modeling.
* Evaluate contracts across fee-for-service and value-based arrangements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
* Support business partners by setting actionable targets that balance strategic goals with operational feasibility.
* Provide expert-level reporting, analysis, and consulting to support enterprise-wide decision-making.
* Partner with senior business unit leaders to provide clear updates on project status, outcomes, and progress.
* Ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned to organizational and business needs.
* Implement company and business unit policies, practices, and procedures, while recommending improvements to strengthen operations.
* Provide input into departmental budgets and ensure effective resource utilization.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders across the enterprise.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic objectives, ensuring alignment between analytics and business priorities.
* Drive decision-making for information management within the business unit, ensuring objectives are met effectively.
* Translate complex technical issues into clear, business-friendly language for stakeholders.
* Demonstrate a deep understanding of business processes and the systems that support them.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience leading project teams, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences
* Expert-level understanding of healthcare cost drivers and trend measurement is strongly preferred.
* Experience evaluating contracts across both fee-for-service and value-based arrangements is preferred.
* Strong background in total cost of care models is strongly preferred.
* Proven ability to conduct detailed contract analysis, set financial targets, and develop actionable plans that balance partner needs with organizational objectives is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of information management technologies, organizational structures, and customer information needs is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, including facilitation, consultation, negotiation, and persuasion are preferred.
* Demonstrated success influencing outcomes and driving strategies in a matrixed environment is preferred.
* Experience with enterprise reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAS, or similar) is preferred.
* Proven ability to define and execute a data analytics strategy aligned with business objectives is preferred.
* Strong financial and budget management experience, particularly within analytics or reporting teams, is preferred.
* Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security best practices are preferred.
* Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Data Analytics, or related field) is preferred
* Actuarial background is strongly preferred.

* range for this specific position is $150,816 to $226,224
