, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Accounting /Membership Communications role. We are seeking a driven individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality‑focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation: $32 to $34 per hour
Member Sales and Retention- Respond promptly to Club Members and prospective members regarding Club Membership, Dues, Rules & Regulations per club standards, and follow up on all membership leads via email, phone, and walk‑ins.
- Greet and tour all prospective members, explaining membership options and answering any questions.
- Conduct New Member Orientations/On‑Boarding individually or in groups, reviewing club rules and communicating any changes.
- Maintain an accurate contact management system, including call records, database, and activity management.
- Maintain membership records.
- Prepare monthly membership reports for the General Manager and Owners.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with current members to encourage event participation and maintain high satisfaction.
- Communicate with management staff and associates to increase knowledge of membership goals, satisfaction, and retention.
- Coordinate with accounting to complete paperwork for new and resigning members.
- Prepare weekly and monthly newsletters for members from input given by each department.
- Maintain the club brand standards and execute strategies to improve awareness and communications.
- Manage the club's social media activity.
- Redirect or reply to inquiries and messages on various platforms.
- Create and distribute the club's newsletter and large‑scale email distributions.
- Produce event marketing materials for members through various channels.
- Be a team player with the entire Oakhurst Country Club staff, contributing to personalized service and facility quality.
- Maintain a positive attitude and assist members and staff in delivering high‑quality service.
- Be present during club operating hours and events to assist with meetings and greetings.
- Complete other assignments as requested by the General Manager.
- Accounts payable experience required.
- Social media experience preferred.
