Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for our retail operations, ensuring that we source high-quality products at competitive prices. The Retail Procurement Manager will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize supply chain efficiency and drive profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Management:
Analyze pricing structures and market conditions to negotiate favorable terms and pricing. Implement cost‑saving initiatives and monitor procurement budgets. - Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish and maintain partnerships. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contracts and service level. - Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet the organization's procurement objectives. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends. - Inventory Coordination:
Collaborate with distribution management and suppliers to forecast demand. Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet brand demands without excessive overstock. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Work closely with distribution management, manufacturers, store design, and store operations teams to align procurement efforts with business strategy. Communicate procurement updates. - Compliance and
Risk Management:
Ensure that procurement activities comply with company policies, and legal requirements. Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. - Performance Metrics:
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to make data‑driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
