Schedule1st shift Mon‑Fri.
Hours:
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) with possible changes based on business needs. Weekend and holiday work may be required. Overtime may occur. Flexibility to work outside the scheduled shift as needed.
- Training on client payroll systems and internal web‑based applications.
- Process payroll data and maintain confidentiality.
- Communicate payroll issues with internal and external contacts.
- Use 10‑key calculator skills and efficient keyboard typing.
- Perform payroll audits.
- Work some weekends and holidays with advance notice.
- Adapt to changing schedules and overtime requirements.
- Demonstrate high energy, learning aptitude, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Assist with non‑union and union wage plans.
- Audit payroll records to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality in a team environment.
- Use good math skills for payroll tasks.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Excel and Access (data entry focus).
- Preferred but not required: payroll experience.
- Flexible to work outside scheduled shifts as needed.
- Typing speed of 40 words per minute or more.
- Strong 10‑key calculator skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, urgent environment.
