Job DescriptionAs a part of the Athletics Event Management department, the Stadium Tours Sales Executive will be responsible for the sales efforts specific to Ohio Stadium Tours. The role will lead all sales-generating calls, outreach to current and past customers, area businesses and cold-calling new sales leads. Building relationships for repeat business and attending networking and athletic events to sell tours is required.
The Sales Executive will assist in the planning and purchasing of tour assets, utilize the ticketing database and online ticket account management system, invoicing, allocation, distribution, reconciliation, reporting, and assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and online ticket management. They will serve as an asset to the Red Coat Tour Team in the execution of tours at Ohio Stadium and assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising tour guide staff.
The position requires a friendly and professional telephone manner, weekly event planning meeting attendance, and work on special projects or working groups as determined by the supervisor. This position will require working nights and weekends based on the schedule of events and is part of a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
- Lead all sales-generating calls, outreach to current and past customers, area businesses, and cold-call new sales leads.

- Utilize ticketing database and online ticket account management system, invoicing, allocation, distribution, reconciliation, reporting, and assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and online ticket management.

- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising tour guide staff.
- Attend weekly event planning meetings and work on special projects or working groups as determined by supervisor.
- Work nights and weekends based on schedule of events.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in managing part-time staff and student staff.
- Experience with Ticketmaster.
- 4 years of sales or customer service experience in tourism or hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated proven track record in a sales program in collegiate or professional space.
- Experience with digital marketing, including but not limited to social media, content marketing, banner ads, mobile, re-targeting and websites, and interpreting performance analytics.

- Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
