Duties / Responsibilities

  • Operational Management:
    Oversee and optimize the DSD Partner operations within the region to ensure efficient and timely product distribution.
  • Sales Performance:
    Drive DSD Partners and retail sales growth by setting targets, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead, mentor, and develop a team of area sales managers, fostering a productive and motivated workforce.
  • Customer Relations:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with DSD Partners, key retailers, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Budget and Cost Control:
    Manage regional budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency while maintaining service quality and operational standards.
  • Compliance and Standards:
    Ensure all operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strategic Planning:
    Develop and implement regional strategies to align with overall company objectives, focusing on market expansion and competitive positioning.
Required Skills / Abilities
  • Sales Strategy:
    Execute and implement effective sales strategies based on market trends, consumer behavior and chain mandates/authorizations.
  • Relationship Building:
    Establish and maintain strong relationships with DSD partners, key clients and partners, collaborating across departments.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Possess a deep understanding of the beverage industry, including market trends and competitor products.
  • EQ:
    Handle rejection and turn it into a positive outcome while staying motivated to succeed.
  • Data Analysis:
    Use data and analytics to evaluate sales performance, identify improvement areas, and make informed decisions.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders, presenting sales reports to senior management.
  • Adaptability:
    Be flexible to changes in market conditions, and company priorities, and adjust sales strategies based on feedback and metrics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in N/A RTD brands.
  • Five (5) years of experience in CPG.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Karma/VIP.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, typing and pulling.
  • Physically capable of bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel:
    Required time to travel across your territory is 50%+ for client meetings, conferences, trade shows, samplings, store visits/audits and other business needs.
License / Certifications
  • Valid driver’s license for the posted state or territory and reliable transportation in accordance with state requirements for motor vehicles.
