** _What does Deal Management & Pricing Strategy bring to Cardinal Health_*
* _Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and distribution services._

_Within Revenue Management, the Deal Management & Pricing Strategy team owns the end-to-end process for Cardinal Health Brand Medical products, from pricing strategy through deal modeling and win loss analysis. This team plays a critical role in ensuring that pricing decisions and deal structures align with financial goals, market conditions, and long-term strategy._

_This role is responsible for owning pricing strategy and deal modeling for specific Cardinal Brand product categories, acting as the key strategic partner to Marketing, Sales, and Finance. The position requires strong analytical skills, business and financial acumen, and the confidence to influence decisions and advocate for strategic pricing recommendations._

_This role operates with high visibility to Senior Vice Presidents and above, supporting leadership reviews of deals and pricing strategies while driving alignment across stakeholders._

** _Responsibilities_*
* ** _Pricing Strategy & Category Ownership_*
* +  _Serve as the primary pricing strategy lead for assigned Cardinal Health Brand Medical product categories_

+  _Develop and execute pricing strategies based on market dynamics, financial targets, and competitive positioning_

+  _Act as the key strategy driver for the category, regularly partnering with and influencing Marketing and Finance_

+  _Confidently voice recommendations and challenge assumptions to drive the best business outcomes_

+  _Partner with Marketing and GOSC to build pricing strategies that account for volume impacts on cost and long-term profitability_

** _Deal Modeling & Approval Process_*
* +  _Lead financial modeling of customer deals, including scenario analysis and profitability evaluation_

+  _Translate pricing strategy into customer-specific deal structures and pricing recommendations_

+  _Support and facilitate the deal approval process, including preparation for senior leadership discussions_

+  _Ensure accuracy and alignment of all financial assumptions, pricing inputs, and deal outcomes_

** _Analytics, Market Intelligence & Insights_*
* +  _Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from internal systems and external benchmarking tools_

+  _Leverage insights to develop pricing strategies and support deal decisions_

+  _Conduct win/loss analysis and market intelligence assessments to refine strategy_

+  _Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve margin performance and pricing effectiveness_

** _Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication_*
* +  _Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align on pricing and deal strategy_

+  _Present pricing strategies, deal models, and recommendations to senior leadership (SVP level and above)_

+  _Translate complex financial and analytical findings into clear, actionable insights_

+  _Operate with high accountability, adapting quickly to meet evolving business needs_

** _Qualifications_*
* +  _Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred_

+  _3+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, deal modeling, or related field, preferred_

+  _Strong understanding of financial modeling and profit & loss (P&L) statements required_

+  _Experience working with data analytics tools, benchmarking platforms, and multiple data sources_
