Located in the Ackerman Building, 660 Ackerman Road. Projects involve travel throughout the James and Ohio State University Medical Complex. Primary working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., though team facilitation may occur outside these hours (e.g., early‑morning or night shifts). Supervisory responsibilities include overseeing up to three Fisher Student Interns.

• Provide operational assessments, efficiency studies, and workflow observations to ensure the most effective utilization of resources.
• Evaluate the impact of new technology, office layouts, and construction projects on operations.
• Offer technical support and advice to continuous‑improvement initiatives and educational services.
• Facilitate process‑improvement teams to achieve improved operational performance.
• Support the development and maintenance of tools and processes used in process improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, process improvement, business operations management, or a related field.
• Preferably at least two years of experience in continuous improvement.
• Health‑care industry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, graphics software, and computer tools.
• Green Belt certification preferred.
