Job Description
The Lead Payroll Business Analyst serves as a strategic execution and enablement partner within Payroll Operations, supporting enterprise payroll initiatives, compliance efforts, and continuous improvement programs. This role works closely with payroll leadership to lead audits, drive process improvement initiatives, manage project execution, and provide clear status reporting and insights across payroll work streams.
This position requires deep payroll knowledge, strong analytical and project management skills, and the ability to flex across priorities.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience leading payroll audits, process improvement initiatives, or cross functional projects
- This person is going to be stepping in big shoes, leading initiatives and operational efficiency
- This role is not siloed on payroll processing- it is very much so promoting innovation and technology, helping every department with misc tasks
- Can train payroll but can’t train someone on leading small projects need to have that experience, will be digging in on what compliance roles of 2026, look into processes, develop SOP’s and process and implement new process
- Analyze ticket counts
- Controls, making sure things are done correctly and doing audits
- Strong working knowledge of payroll systems and payroll operations (ADP experience preferred)
- Strong Excel experience
