TheOpportunity
As the Senior Analyst, Development Strategy, you will transform data into actionable business insights that influence strategic decisions across the Development organization, serving as a trusted advisor by identifying trends, synthesizing complex information, and building compelling narratives that drive alignment, prioritization, and action. You will partner closely with Development leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to evaluate business performance, measure strategic initiatives, and uncover opportunities for improvement, helping leaders understand not only what is happening in the business, but why it is happening and what actions should be taken next.
In addition to delivering strategic insights, you will oversee reporting solutions and maintain a strong understanding of the systems and data structures that support Development processes, balancing analytical rigor, stakeholder influence, business acumen, and technical expertise to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do- Analyze Development performance, strategic initiatives, annual market planning activities, and operational outcomes to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights that support business objectives, growth priorities, and the overall Development plan.
- Transform complex data—including spatial, market, and geographic analyses—into clear, compelling narratives and executive‑level recommendations that support real estate site selection, strategic growth initiatives, and informed business decision‑making.
- Prepare and maintain Executive Summary reporting that communicates Development performance, strategic priorities, key business trends, and actionable recommendations to Development Leadership.
- Partner with stakeholders across Development, Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT, New Restaurant Opening (NRO), and other functions to understand business priorities, support annual market planning, evaluate performance, and drive data‑informed decision‑making.
- Lead analytical and reporting initiatives from concept through implementation, coordinating stakeholders, defining requirements, managing timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of business solutions.
- Evaluate ad hoc business inquiries, market evaluations, spatial analyses, and analytical findings to identify recurring business needs and opportunities for process improvement, developing scalable tools, reporting solutions, and performance measurement frameworks when repeatable solutions are warranted.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, reporting solutions, analytical tools, and spatial analysis capabilities that provide visibility into Development execution, strategic initiatives, market opportunities, and business performance.
- Ensure analytical outputs, reporting assets, and business recommendations are supported by accurate, validated data and consistent methodologies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Development systems, business processes, data flows, and geographic datasets, partnering with IT and data teams to support system enhancements, reporting improvements, testing efforts, and analytical innovation initiatives.
- Support restaurant development programs, remodel initiatives, operational rollouts, real estate site selection activities, and other strategic projects through analysis, performance measurement, stakeholder communication, and project leadership.
- Document business processes, reporting definitions, analytical methodologies, spatial analysis standards, and key performance metrics to support consistency, governance, and long‑term scalability.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a 4‑year college or university preferred.
