Responsibilities
- Acts as primary contact with client at that particular site and is available to the client for escalation when necessary
- Work as intermediary for communication between client and their operations teams and Crane Worldwide network
- Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the client to insure prompt resolution
- Manage all client requests and follow up to insure that the client needs are met
- Guides work:
May organize, set priorities, schedule and review work, but has no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance or make pay decisions - Responsible for managing the client reports and assuring accuracy
- Ability to drive a forklift and become certified by Crane Worldwide
- Plans transportation routing, booking and freight storage
- Operates, navigates, and trains CWW Employees on transportation systems, processes, and procedures
- Works directly with the operational staff, leadership, and client’s staff to understand business requirements, and how to implement new processes to accomplish mutual goals.
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques
- Excellent organization and problem solving skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to drive a forklift and become certified by Crane Worldwide
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience or combination experience and education
- Professional certification may be required in some areas.
