Admissions Counselor

• Manage a recruitment territory (e.g. Columbus).
• Execute territory specific recruitment activities and events in collaboration with partner offices.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with high schools, community based organizations, and community colleges.
• Travel to high schools, community colleges, and college fairs to represent The Ohio State University.
• Make recruitment calls to prospective students.
• Monitor a territory specific budget.
• Analyze prospective student data.
• Perform data validation and manage electronic workflows.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate.
• Program planning and implementation.
• Familiarity with office desktop technology.
• Early morning, evening, and weekend hours required.
• Work experience at a college/university, admissions preferred.
• Knowledge of data interpretation.
• Knowledge of CRM and other recruitment technology platforms.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Conflict resolution skills.
