What we need: We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Sourcing Planner for information technology within the Office of Budget & Finance headquartered at Central Office in Franklin County

• Work independently to lead the agency in researching, evaluating, and administering the agency's information technology (IT) contract portfolio.
• Transition IT to a centralized procurement process.
• Utilize strategic sourcing to maximize agency spend for goods and services and improvements to supply chain, delivery, and cost reductions.
• Plan and improve the use of preference programs across the contract portfolio.
• Determine cost projections across the agency contract portfolio, identify cost savings, and establish cost controls and a reduction plan.
• Monitor supplier performance.
• Starting hourly pay of $33.52/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $49.18/hr.
• There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service.
