Location:

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm

Hourly Wage:

$18.00 an hour

What You’ll Do and Why it Matters:

An (ESP) supports individuals with disabilities as they prepare for, obtain, and retain community employment. ESPs have a desire to create lasting positive impacts on people’s lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, training, and encouraging others to celebrate meeting their goals on their path to community employment. The use of a personal vehicle is required to provide community-based services to persons served.

  • Building Connections: From local employers to community partners, you’ll be out there creating opportunities and opening doors
  • Making Employment Happen: This isn’t theory – you’ll actively help people find, prepare for, and succeed in real jobs.
  • Coaching for Success: You’ll provide hands‑on support with everything from resumes to on‑the‑job guidance, helping turn potential into progress
  • Problem Solving & Planning: Every person is different—you’ll assess strengths, navigate barriers, and help shape paths to success.
  • Keeping Things on Track: Behind the scenes, you’ll document progress, meet service requirements, and ensure everything stays compliant and running smoothly
  • Staying on the move:This is an active, community‑based role—you won’t be stuck behind a desk.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
  • 21+ with a high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • People-focused communicator who can coach, motivate, and build strong relationships
  • Problem‑solver & self‑starter who works well independently and adapts quickly
  • Comfortable with technology (Microsoft office and similar tools)
  • Positive, professional, and driven to make a difference
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is a plus
Requirements:
  • Must submit to a BCII/FBI background check and Nurses Aid & Abuser Registry checks.
  • Maintain American Red Cross or equivalent first aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and insurability standards.
  • Complete eight hours of training as required by The Ohio Department of Developmental upon hire.
  • Obtain Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) credential within twelve months of hire.
  • Passing a physical exam may be required based on job assignments.
