Chase Business Banking operates in over 5,000 branches across the country, providing financial services to approximately 2.5 million business clients. We are the leading bank for small businesses in our key markets, providing deposit and cash management services, payment solutions, and a broad array of lending products to meet our clients' access to capital needs.

As a Senior Project Manager on the Business Banking team, you will partner with cross-functional groups across Business Banking (e.g., Product, Digital, Operations, Controls) and other lines of business to lead projects and programs that advance key initiatives. You will provide delivery leadership, oversight, and direction across program-level work streams, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. If you can think strategically, execute with discipline, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, you will thrive on our team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including dependency management, operationalization, banker communications, delivery feasibility decisions, and performance reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Controls, Sales) to define scope, objectives, and deliverables, and to align project plans and milestones.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project timelines and program roadmaps; apply forecasting techniques to improve on-time delivery and proactively manage scope.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues; drive change management across functional partners and ensure adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze current business processes; recommend improvements and design/document supporting procedures to increase efficiency and enhance client and banker experience.
  • Deliver timely, accurate reporting and metrics by producing status dashboards, scorecards, and executive-ready presentations for stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project updates and issue resolution; define and track tasks, milestones, and dependencies to ensure accountability and progress.
  • Utilize project and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Align, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel) to plan, execute, and monitor delivery outcomes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects/programs or product delivery within financial services, in Business Banking or closely related domains.
  • Demonstrate proven success executing operational readiness and change readiness management (e.g., launch planning, training/communications, adoption tracking, process rollouts).
  • Apply strong proficiency with project delivery tools (e.g., Jira/Jira Align, MS Teams) and advanced Excel skills to analyze data, build dashboards, and produce performance reporting.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively through strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; translate complex concepts into concise, stakeholder-ready messaging.
  • Operate with exceptional organization and ownership; manage competing priorities, ambiguity, and tight deadlines while consistently meeting milestones.
  • Manage project plans end-to-end by tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions; escalate appropriately and drive resolution to maintain delivery commitments.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables from planning through execution.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguity by creating structure (clear project plans, action logs, issue and decision tracking, roles and responsibilities) and escalating issues with options and recommendations.
