Beyond coordinating corporate citizenship programs and providing operational and reporting support, this role will help advance how Nationwide measures, communicates, and maximizes the impact of its community investments. The ideal candidate brings experience in impact measurement, program evaluation, and data storytelling, with the ability to integrate quantitative and qualitative information from community partners, business data, and other sources into clear, decision-ready insights.

Success in this role requires a strategic, consultative partner who can connect community outcomes to enterprise priorities, translate complex analysis into recommendations for senior leaders, support multi-market initiatives, and strengthen internal and external narratives about the value created for communities, associates, customers, and Nationwide.

• Evolve the team from activity-based reporting toward outcome- and impact-oriented decision-making.
• Lead or help shape an impact measurement and analytics strategy for Corporate Citizenship and the Nationwide Foundation.
• Integrate data from community partners, business sources, and qualitative insights to create a more complete evidence base.
• Translate analysis into practical recommendations that inform investment priorities, partnerships, and leadership decisions.
• Help connect community outcomes to enterprise priorities such as associate engagement, brand, and long-term value.
• Equip Corporate Citizenship leaders and consultants with actionable insights and strengthen internal and external storytelling.
• Operate as a cross-functional, multi-market resource in a lean team where this integrative capability is not currently dedicated elsewhere.

The current description already emphasizes project management, communications, data reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, problem-solving, and the ability to lead projects. The addendum should spotlight the following differentiators:

• Experience designing or applying impact measurement frameworks, program evaluation methods, or outcome metrics.
• Ability to combine quantitative and qualitative information and turn it into a coherent point of view.
• Advanced analytical judgment: knowing which data matters, identifying limitations, and developing insights that support forward-looking decisions.
• Data storytelling skills, including the ability to make complex findings accessible and compelling for executive, employee, community, and external audiences.
