The RoleIn this role, the focus is on supporting the successful execution of business attraction and expansion projects across the Columbus Region. The project coordinator serves as a key member of the deal closing project management and client services team by coordinating project activities, maintaining accurate project records, supporting client engagement and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
The position supports high-impact economic development initiatives by providing project coordination and administrative support that keep opportunities moving forward. Responsibilities include coordinating with regional partners, maintaining project documentation, tracking project activities, responding to client requests and delivering a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders.

Reports to: Vice President, Corporate Investment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the deal closing project management and client services team.
- Assist in planning, coordinating and executing client visits to the Columbus Region.
- Support the distribution, tracking and management of incoming project real estate requests.
- Assist with the preparation of site selection responses and support site readiness initiatives in collaboration with internal staff and regional partners.
- Support the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of the regional real estate database in collaboration with local economic development partners.
- Maintain and organize Salesforce records, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and completeness in accordance with internal standards and partner guidelines.
- Develop compelling market proposals and supporting materials for domestic and international business attraction opportunities.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
- Serve as the first point of contact for general economic development inquiries received via email, website contact forms and phone, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of One Columbus and its state and regional partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in planning, economic development, real estate, business or a related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience in economic development, project coordination, client services, real estate or a related field is preferred.
