We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Analyst to support Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects for a major energy and utilities organization in Columbus, Ohio.
This position is responsible for contract administration, contract negotiation, contract drafting, procurement support, risk management, claims, change orders, and supplier/vendor management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing contracts for engineering, construction, services, materials, and equipment installation.
Responsibilities:- Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and administer complex EPC, construction, engineering, and procurement contracts.
- Leads contract negotiations, RFP/RFQ processes, amendments, change orders, and claims.
- Conducts contract risk assessments, resolve contractual issues, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitors vendor/supplier performance, warranties, compliance, and contractual obligations.
- Partners with Legal, Procurement, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Project Management teams to support contract and commercial activities.
NOTE:
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders) to be considered for this position.
1 year Contract with potential for conversion to Perm.

Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience applying contract administration and contracting principles.
- Master's in Business Administration, Law degree, or equivalent advanced degree.
- 12+ years of experience in contract administration, subcontract administration, and procurement supporting engineering and construction projects.
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts, terms and conditions for services, construction, engineering, materials, and equipment installation.
- Strong understanding of EPC/construction contracts, contract language, and construction industry practices.
- Experience managing RFP/RFQ processes, contractor negotiations, change orders, claims evaluation, and settlements.
- Experience developing project-specific terms and conditions and flowing down requirements from prime contracts.
