As a Project Superintendent
, you will serve as the on-site leader responsible for the daily coordination, safety, scheduling, and quality control of assigned construction projects. You’ll work in close partnership with the Project Manager to ensure each project is delivered on time, on budget, and to client satisfaction
. This is a highly visible, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership environment with the ability to mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate on project scheduling, logistics, and phasing strategies
- Provide input on constructability reviews
- Assist in preparing bid packages and subcontract scopes
- Support subcontractor and supplier procurement efforts
- Direct daily field operations and coordinate subcontractors
- Implement and maintain the master project schedule
- Monitor and control project costs
- Ensure adherence to quality control and safety standards
- Resolve field issues proactively and efficiently
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and as-builts
- Lead weekly foreman and OAC meetings
- Manage inspections, permits, and code compliance
- Mentor Field Engineers and Assistant Superintendents
- Maintain a secure and professional jobsite environment
- Participate in RFQs, RFPs, and client interviews when needed
- Help identify future project opportunities
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in multi-family, commercial, or K–12 construction
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, subcontractor management, and field coordination
- Familiar with construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (minimum)
- CPR & First Aid Certification preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Willingness to travel within Ohio
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Salary: $115,000–$125,000 based on experience
