Position Summary: Plan, coordinate and supervise all activities of the project and ensure safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience with Civil/Structural concrete is required
  • Experience with Water and Wastewater treatment construction preferred
  • Experience in Underground utility installation, process piping preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Supervisor or Foreman in the construction field
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Union membership with Carpenter, Operators or Laborers union or willingness to join.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

  • Mechanical experience i.e.: pumps, treatment equipment, piping preferred
  • Advanced Blueprint reading
  • Experience with Civil/Structural concrete, Water and Wastewater treatment
  • Knowledge of Concrete Forming Systems
  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment used in the construction industry.
  • Computer literate, use of common applications i.e.:
    Excel, Procore

Job Responsibilities: (not inclusive of all duties)

  • Organize and coordinate the crew and subcontractors work to be performed, including equipment and material, before performing work yourself.
  • Supervise and coordinate crews involved in the self-performance portion of a project.
  • Coordinate installations and quality of on-site work performed by subcontractors.
  • Coordinate work with other prime contractors not under subcontract. This includes contractors working directly for the owner, including testing agencies.
  • Develop a complete understanding of all contract documents, including specifications, plans, addendums and work scope.
  • Develop a work plan based on all construction documents to assure the proper materials, manpower, equipment and subcontractors are coordinated in advance of all construction activities.
  • Work with your General Superintendent to best utilize the skills of each person on the job and to make certain that workers are qualified to perform the task you assign them, such as equipment operations.
  • Examine and inspect field conditions to identify problems, omissions, inaccuracies and cost saving measures that may be encountered.
  • Review and understand the Timberline Estimate Detail Report. Based on this report, accurately cost code activities on Time Sheets, Material Received Reports, Equipment Reports, and other forms required.
  • Review and implement all required safety precautions on the job site, including toolbox talks, site-specific safety plan, analyzing fall protection, trench shoring or layback, personal protection equipment, and completing J.S.A., etc.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work site following company protocol.
  • Follow company reporting protocol for personnel and safety matters.
