Pay Range:
$45-$55 an hour + Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, short-term disability, etc.)
Must-Have's- Experience managing construction or civil infrastructure projects
- Background in civil engineering, construction management, or inspection
- Ability to coordinate field staff (inspectors/technicians)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit construction sites
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field OR equivalent experience
- EIT
- Candidates working toward PE (not required)
- PMP or CCM certification
- Associate’s degree in Construction Management
- Materials testing or inspection background
- Surveying experience
- Experience with municipal, roadway, waterline, or public works projects
- Experience with ODOT or City of Columbus projects
- Alpine Notes
- 5+ years of Construction PM work (45- 55/hr)
- Entry-level civil engineer, EIT, construction management degree CURRENTLY IN CONSTRUCTION ROLE/COMPANY ready to move into project management
- Inspector or field engineer wanting to transition into PM responsibilities
This role supports our clients construction management services by overseeing projects and coordinating field inspection and testing teams. The team is open to junior project managers (EITs or construction management grads) through experienced construction PMs, with certifications like PMP or CCM considered a plus but not required.
- Manage construction and infrastructure projects from planning through construction completion
- Coordinate inspectors, technicians, and field staff
- Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and documentation
- Serve as the primary client contact and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Lead project meetings and resolve field or schedule issues
- Review contracts, change orders, and project milestones
- Support construction inspection and materials testing operations as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and municipal requirements
