Elford is hiring a Senior Estimator to lead pursuit efforts across Healthcare, K-12, Commercial, Industrial, and Specialty markets. This is a high-impact role for someone who understands how to build accurate, competitive estimates — and influence how we win work.

What You’ll Own- Lead estimating from early conceptual budgeting through final submission
- Develop detailed cost models, quantity takeoffs, and pricing strategies
- Build and manage bidder lists, subcontractor outreach, and bid reviews
- Present estimates, VE options, and system alternatives with confidence
- Mentor Estimators and Assistant Estimators
- Partner closely with Operations to ensure estimates reflect real-world means, methods, and productivity
- Track market conditions, subcontractor capacity, and pricing trends
- Continuously strengthen cost databases and estimating tools
- 7–10+ years in construction estimating
- Experience with negotiated, GMP, and hard-bid projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, productivity, and schedule impacts
- Confidence leading bid efforts and influencing pursuit strategy
- Experience with digital takeoff and estimating platforms
