Senior Construction Manager

We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee and manage the execution of construction works on our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Working closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients, the Construction Manager will act as the key coordinator for site-based activities.

Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones.

Manage construction schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Review and assess design drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure buildability and compliance.

Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across the site.

Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with stakeholders.

Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, workforce planning, and equipment usage.

Track project costs, support the project manager in managing budgets, and contribute to risk management strategies.

Provide technical advice and resolve on-site construction issues.

Report on project progress, challenges, and risks to senior management and clients.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.

Proven experience (8+ years) in construction management within consultancy or contractor environments.

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site management.

Demonstrated ability to deliver projects in sectors such as data centres, commercial, healthcare, or infrastructure (experience in multiple sectors advantageous).

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong understanding of health and safety standards and risk management.

Proficient in project management and construction software tools.
