GPD is currently seeking a Seasonal Construction Inspector in the Columbus/Central Ohio regions.
RoleThe Seasonal Construction Inspector will perform construction inspections in the Columbus/Central Ohio region on applicable projects.
Responsibilities- Conduct field inspections of assigned projects in accordance with project specifications and safety requirements.
- Coordinate and communicate findings with project teams and stakeholders.
- Travel to project sites throughout Central Ohio to perform inspections as required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with roadway, waterline and storm sewer inspections.
- NCIC/industry certifications are a plus (examples include ACI Grade 1 Concrete, ODOT Aggregates Levels 1 & 2, ODOT Asphalt Level 2; NICET Level 1, 2 or
3). - Must provide own transportation.
- Turnpike experience is a plus.
- Must have the ability to travel to projects throughout Central Ohio.
- Drug & alcohol testing required.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license is required.
