Dugan & Meyers is growing in the Columbus, Ohio region and we’re looking for an experienced Project Executive – Concrete Structures to help lead some of the region’s most impactful construction projects.

With over 90 years of experience, Dugan & Meyers is known for a hands-on, collaborative approach and the ability to self-perform critical scopes of work - especially in concrete construction.

As a Project Executive, you will lead, manage, and coordinate all phases of one or more projects from preconstruction through closeout, with a strong emphasis on Concrete Structures and Self-Perform Operations
.

You will:

• Provide executive-level leadership for structural concrete projects
• Oversee multiple projects and Project Managers, ensuring successful delivery across Safety, Schedule, Budget and Quality
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Clients, Engineers, Subcontractors, Vendors and Key Stakeholders.
• Lead project strategy, planning, and execution while aligning with company growth and profitability goals.
• Drive cost control, forecasting, and financial performance across projects
• Oversee Contract Administration including Procurement and Buyout Strategy, Change Orders, Pay Applications, etc.
• Partner with Safety leadership to ensure Best-in-Class Safety Performance
  , particularly in high-risk concrete operations
• Guide and develop high-performing teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Engineers
• Support business development efforts, including Client relationships, Project Pursuits, and Preconstruction Collaboration
• Contribute to Estimating, Budgeting, and Contract Negotiations as needed
• Champion continuous improvement through Lessons Learned and Process Enhancements

• 10+ years of progressive construction experience, with significant leadership experience in concrete construction
• Strong background in Self-Perform Structural Concrete Projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
• Deep understanding of:
• Concrete construction methods, sequencing, and production
• Cost control, forecasting, and financial management
• Project scheduling and risk management
• Experience developing teams through mentorship, coaching, and leadership
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence clients and internal teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience (Extensive field experience in concrete construction will be considered in lieu of one of these degrees).
