JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage on-site construction activities with minimal assistance
Oversee and coordinate field operations for projects totaling approximately $10 million annually, or support larger projects under Superintendent IIMentor and assist in developing Assistant Superintendents, with up to two direct reports
Attend, participate in, and lead company meetings, subcontractor meetings, and Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings
Schedule work activities, allocate resources, and monitor daily project progress
Ensure all construction activities meet project specifications and quality standards
Implement and enforce all safety protocols to maintain a safe jobsite
Follow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, and company safety policies and procedures
Review project schedules and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved
Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, supplies, and other project expenses
Monitor project budgets and maintain effective cost control
Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers
Collaborate closely with clients, Project Managers, and other construction professionals on budgets, schedules, and execution strategies
Apply efficient, cost-effective management techniques to support project success
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; or equivalent experience.
Over 5 years’ experience in construction management
Fit to Work / OSHA 30 certification
Active involvement in community organization8 hours of continuing education annually
