Senior Construction Manager

Travel – Up to 50% of travel is required (not consistently).

• Act as the primary on-site representative, managing the daily operations of construction projects, with warehouse and office building experience preferred.
• Perform routine site walks to monitor construction quality, safety compliance, schedule progress, and identify potential issues.
• Lead end-to-end execution of ground-up and remodel construction projects, managing all phases from the site handoff.
• Oversee new building projects, warehouses and manufacturing facilities plus the refit construction projects at existing facilities.
• Collaborate directly with subcontractors, trades, vendors, and on-site personnel to support efficient project execution.
• Review trade plans to ensure proper scope, functionality, and compliance, while identifying and addressing deficiencies.
• Prepare and present detailed field reports to leadership, outlining project progress, risks, delays, and field updates.
• Proactively identify, address, and resolve issues before they escalated into costly challenges.
• Coordinate site logistics and ensure labor, materials, and resources remain aligned with project timelines.
• Maintain contractor accountability and provide direction for on-site activities as necessary.
• Participate in site meetings and assist with managing short-term project schedules and milestones.
• Promote a culture centered on safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Handle ground-up facility builds and interior redesigns.
• Perform comprehensive site due diligence, including feasibility, utilities, zoning, and risk assessment to support informed build decisions.
• Manage permitting, regulatory compliance, and code adherence through project closeout.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules to meet opening milestones.

• Hands-on construction experience, preferably supporting warehouse and large-scale office building projects.
• Demonstrated success managing subcontractors, trades, and vendors within active construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, scopes of work, specifications, and field execution requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise, and actionable updates and reports.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Confident in making real-time decisions and effectively communicating direction in the field.
• Proficient with project management software, digital reporting tools, and standard business technology platforms.
