About the OpportunityOur client is a highly respected top-tier general contractor with a strong footprint across the Columbus commercial construction market and a long-standing reputation for delivering complex projects through well-supported field teams.
They are seeking a Lead Superintendent / Senior Superintendent to lead upcoming ground-up projects typically ranging from $50M–$80M+, with work spanning large commercial, institutional, healthcare, industrial, and other high-profile local developments.

Key Responsibilities- Lead all on-site field operations from mobilization through turnover and closeout
- Manage subcontractor sequencing, day-to-day site coordination, quality control, and overall jobsite execution
- Drive project schedule performance through look-ahead planning and proactive field leadership
- Maintain strong safety standards and ensure compliance across all trades and site activity
- Partner closely with Project Management to maintain clear communication between field and office
- Coordinate inspections, owner walkthroughs, punch list activity, and final delivery
- Identify and resolve field conflicts early to keep work moving efficiently
- Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and developing field staff
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor / Construction Manager
- Experience leading ground-up commercial projects, ideally $30M+
- Background across commercial, healthcare, higher education, public, or industrial work strongly valued
- Proven ability to run organized, schedule-driven jobsites with strong subcontractor accountability
- Comfortable leading larger teams and communicating effectively with owners, design teams, and internal leadership
- Procore or similar construction software experience preferred
- Base salary: $115K–$160K+ depending on experience and project scope
