Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial and multifamily construction projects, including modular builds.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for running the jobsite, from planning and coordination through execution and closeout. You will be accountable for schedule, subcontractor performance, quality, and safety.
This is not a coordination-only role. You are expected to own the jobsite and drive results.
What You’ll Do- Lead all field operations from preconstruction through completion
- Review project approach at handoff and proactively identify risks or gaps
- Coordinate subcontractors, sequencing, manpower, and equipment
- Own the daily reporting process in Procore (labor, progress, conditions)
- Drive schedule performance and communicate deviations early
- Interpret drawings, specs, and contracts for field execution
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, inspections, and code compliance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Track labor productivity and time & material work
- Partner closely with the Project Manager to resolve field challenges
- Coordinate and oversee modular installation and crane operations
- Verify bearing surfaces meet strict elevation and tolerance requirements
- Manage delivery inspections and damage documentation of modules
- Ensure weather barrier integrity during and after installation
- Coordinate layout, survey, and install sequencing with trade partners
- Maintain site readiness for efficient modular setting operations
- 4+ years as a Superintendent in commercial or multifamily construction
- Experience leading ground-up projects
- Proven ability to run a jobsite independently
- Strong coordination of multiple trades and tight schedules
- Multifamily or mixed-use experience
- Exposure to modular or prefabrication construction
- Experience with mid-rise construction
- Projects range from $1M – $80M
- Consistent pipeline of work in Central Ohio
- Exposure to modular construction (faster, more complex builds)
- Opportunity to grow into Senior Superintendent or Field Leadership roles
