Multi-Family Lumber Estimator

Location: Pataskala, Ohio

Pay Range: B based on experience

Hours: 40 hrs/wk. (ability to work overtime, when needed)

• Responsible for review and analysis of blueprints and specifications, performing takeoffs and generating bill of material reports for lumber, framing hardware and other assigned scopes of work for multi-family and all other assigned projects in a timely manner.
• Communicates directly with Project Managers and other employees to answer questions and provide takeoff revisions when required for change orders.

• Requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the construction industry and understanding of multi-family framing components.
• 2-3 years of experience as a construction estimator, multi-family project superintendent or foreman, or framing contractor.
• Working knowledge (or at least familiarity) with takeoff software (Planswift) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks in a timely manner without direct supervision.
• Employee must be U.S. based.
