Commercial Construction Estimator

The Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction process, helping to develop accurate and competitive project estimates. You’ll collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and leadership to ensure bids are complete, strategic, and aligned with client expectations.

• Develop detailed cost estimates during all phases of design
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to prepare takeoffs
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Work closely with internal teams on budgeting and scheduling input
• Provide value engineering ideas and identify project risks
• Maintain estimating systems and historical cost data
• Participate in site visits, bid reviews, and client meetings as needed

• 3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Proficiency with estimating software (such as Bluebeam, OST, Sage, or Pro Est)
• Solid understanding of construction plans, specs, and building systems
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
