Senior Electrical Estimator – Mission Critical, Data Centers, Hyperscale

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates
• Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and operations teams
• Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts
• Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving strategies
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems

• 4+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Experience in Mission Critical/Data Centers, Industrial Construction, Large Commercial Construction, Design‑Build Projects, and Fast‑Track Construction Environments
• Technical skills:
  Accubid or similar estimating software, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, blueprint and specification interpretation, strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems
• Professional skills: strong communication and collaboration abilities, high attention to detail and organization, strategic and analytical thinking, ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, self‑motivated with a solutions‑oriented mindset
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post‑secondary education or industry certifications preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
