MEP Superintendent

A leading national general contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Senior Superintendent with Data Center experience to join its growing team. This individual will play a key role in overseeing the installation, coordination, testing, and commissioning of mission-critical building systems on complex, large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and commissioning activities on Data Center construction projects
• Coordinate and oversee MEP trade partners to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements
• Develop and manage short-term and long-term MEP schedules in collaboration with project leadership
• Facilitate trade coordination meetings and drive resolution of construct ability, sequencing, and system integration challenges
• Monitor installation quality, productivity, and schedule performance throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and coordinate submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, startup procedures, and commissioning plans
• Support turnover and commissioning efforts, ensuring systems meet operational and owner requirements
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork across all project stakeholder

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience with significant MEP leadership responsibilities
• Previous Data Center construction experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of critical power systems, electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, HVAC systems, controls, fire protection, and commissioning processes
• Experience coordinating multiple MEP trades on large-scale, technically complex projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and schedules
