WCMH News internships are designed for aspiring journalists seeking hands-on experience in a local newsroom. Interns will potentially work with reporters, photojournalists, and producers, who produce content for multiple platforms.
WCMH Sports internships are designed for aspiring sports journalists. Interns will work side-by-side with the WCMH sports team. Potential internship opportunities include shadowing in the field, at games and at press conferences.
Internship Details:
* Internship schedules will be based on requirements from college or university
* Interns will be well-supervised and participate in a meaningful learning experience
* Upon completion of the internship, students will be evaluated through a written review by the internship supervisor
Requirements & Skill:
* Juniors and seniors studying journalism, video production, or other communication degrees
* Internships must be for school credit
* Be of advanced skill level due to complexity of projects
* A collaborative worker with a willingness to learn
