- Conducts interviews and researches subject for article development as sole author or in cooperation with other authors for website
- Helps develop promotional emails and flyers for Stone Lab course student recruitment
- Creates educational text for display panels for the public on topics like harmful algal blooms, pharmaceuticals in the water, wetlands and aquaculture
- Develops news releases on program research and events for public awareness and promotion
- Assists in the development of publication graphics and layout with graphic designer
- Helps to write short scripts to be used for You Tube researcher summaries
- Develops brochures, fact sheets and posters covering outreach programming
- Creates social media posts on program research and outreach
- Updates media lists and publication database
Student candidates need to submit a resume, cover letter and 3 writing samples.
