Job Title
Student Design Assistant – Department: OHTECH | OARnet Engineering Team-JM
Location1224 Kinnear Rd, (0374)
ScheduleHybrid position. Training period requires on‑site presence; thereafter flexible during business hours 8 a.m.–6 p.m., Monday–Friday. Scheduled hours: 20 per week. First shift. Position is temporary (fixed‑term).
Paid RateTargeted hiring rate: $14 per hour.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain visual communication diagrams and artwork for internal and external audiences, primarily using Adobe Illustrator and established templates.
- Translate engineering sketches into polished diagrams using Illustrator templates.
- Develop additional visual assets as needed.
- Detail‑oriented student pursuing a four‑year college degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite:
Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel. - Strong organizational skills, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for informational graphics and interest in technology and learning new subjects.
Include a design portfolio or at least three samples of your work.
