POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports day-to-day logistics operations within our customer's facility, with a primary focus on customer service, track and trace, and accurate data entry. The role involves coordinating outbound shipments, preparing documentation such as bills of lading, and maintaining communication with carriers and internal teams. While primarily administrative and customer-facing, the position may include occasional light warehouse support as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Provide customer service support by communicating shipment status updates to internal teams and customers
- Perform track and trace activities to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Prepare and process bills of lading and other shipping documentation
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment and inventory data in logistics systems
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and resolve any service issues
- Monitor shipments and proactively escalate delays or discrepancies
- Assist with receiving shipments, including greeting drivers and verifying paperwork
- Support light warehouse tasks such as organizing, labeling, or staging shipments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and carriers
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Basic understanding of logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, customer service, or warehouse support preferred
- Proficiency with data entry and basic computer systems
- Problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment
- Primarily office‑based with occasional light warehouse activity
- Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis
- Ability to stand or walk for short periods as needed
