Job Summary

Customer Service Representative at Pet Palace Columbus Airport—responsible for ensuring every client and pet receives VIP‑level service while managing daily front‑desk operations.

• Welcoming pet parents and their pets with a friendly, 5‑star resort experience.
• Answering multi‑line phones, greeting callers with a smile, and handling in‑person, phone, and email inquiries.
• Touring new clients through the facility and selling our products and services.
• Verifying up‑to‑date vaccination records and ensuring safety compliance.
• Managing check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently and with personal touch.
• Handling cash, card payments, and balancing the end‑of‑day cash drawer.
• Responding to client complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort pet guests to and from enclosures and maintaining a welcoming lobby.
• Assisting team members as needed and performing other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service or retail experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills—phone, in‑person, and email.
• Comfortable using multi‑line phone systems and computer software.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and quick decision making.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Available evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Pay range $12–$14/hour plus tips, DOE.
