Patient Representative – 1st Shift

Department: James | Patient Experience

• Provide family support, education, mediation, and issue resolution in public spaces.
• Respond to family and visitor concerns with empathetic verbal communication skills.
• Anticipate the needs and feelings of families and visitors to deliver proactive customer service interventions.
• Utilize interpersonal, diplomacy, and conflict management skills to mediate and resolve issues.
• Communicate regularly and clearly with families, visitors, and internal teams in a timely manner.
• Deliver non‑clinical information and updates to families and visitors in the lobby and visitor lounge environment.

Availability: Monday – Friday, 10:00am to 6:30pm

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience required; 2–4 years preferred.
• Evidence of customer service skills and training.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, problem‑solving, program planning, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Certification or vocational training preferred.
