The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to create an environment that promotes collegiality and collaboration among members of various education, research, service, and cultural communities. A willingness to serve as a role model and advocate for the ideals of professionalism and high ethical standards in a health science educational setting is essential. The job duties include supervising dental students evaluating and triaging emergency dental patients and making treatment plans for these patients.
Supervising/helping dental students providing endodontic treatment to patients in the endodontic clinic.
Required:
Candidates must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and completion of a CODA-accredited advanced education program in endodontics. Three years of practice experience to be qualified in this position. Must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board. Information on state dental licensure is available tal.ohio.gov/licensing info.stm. Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Endodontics is also required.
Desired:
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in dental education and an MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree.
Additional InformationThe budget for this position is up to $2,550. The offer for this position will be based on internal equity and the candidate's qualifications.
