As a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), you play a critical role in promoting oral health & preventing dental diseases.

Pay
  • $70,400 - $88,000 per year

Salary: $70,400-$88,000 with a $2,500 sign-on bonus upon contract signing.

Requirements
  • License & Certification:
    Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Licensed dental hygienist
  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
  • Diploma in Dental Hygiene
  • Dentrix experience
  • EHR experience preferred
  • Valid license to practice
  • Associate’s Degree
  • Registered Dental Hygiene active state license, including but not limited to, radiograph, CPR, and local anesthesia state required certifications.
Preferences
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy as it relates to oral health.
  • Proficiency in patient care techniques and assessment methods.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A patient and friendly personality
  • Attention to detail
  • Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
  • CPR Certification (training can be provided upon hire)
  • Commitment to preventive dental care
  • Knowledge/interest in providing care to diverse patient population
  • Written and oral bilingual fluency in language spoken by our patient population (for example, English/Spanish or English/Polish) strongly preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with dental standards.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments:
    Reviewing medical histories, taking dental x-rays, and assessing oral health conditions.
  • Dental Cleanings & Periodontal Care:
    Prophylaxis Cleanings, Scaling & Root Planning, Polishing, treating periodontal diseases, placing sealants, administering localized antibiotics, assisting with anesthetic, etc.
