Description:
* Gain experience assisting in the production of conceptual and schematic level drawings, renderings, and diagrams under the direction of experienced design professionals.
* Direct involvement developing innovative design concepts with project teams to produce constructable solutions.
* Learn more about building material selections and construction detailing to maintain design intent throughout the design process.
* Gain experience preparing for client facing and internal presentations.
* Interface and collaborate with a full project team, including interior designers, landscape designers, engineers, and builders.
* Help in the production of quality design awards both locally and nationally.
* Site visits to active building project construction sites.
* Physical model building.
* AXP Experience!
Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in, or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or related field (required);
* A strong portfolio highlighting student work and any professional experience, if relevant.
* A strong ability to multitask and pivot quickly between projects
* Proficient in Rhino, Sketch-up, Test Fit and other 3D modelling software
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD a plus
* Strong sketching skills a plus
