Job Description

Project Architect III to join the Columbus, Ohio office. This role is ideal for an architect who is continuing to build their technical and design skills and is excited to work in a collaborative, studio-based environment.

Compensation: USD 77,000 - USD 107,000 yearly.

Responsibilities
  • Support project teams through all phases of design and documentation.
  • Assist with developing drawings, models, and presentations.
  • Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Help incorporate design ideas and technical requirements into project deliverables.
  • Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and client presentations.
  • Develop design concepts for design lead and client review.
  • Prepare design and contract drawings using Revit and modeling/graphics software.
  • Coordinate design efforts and deliverables of design consultants and project team.
  • Assist with management and mentoring of less-experienced project team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture plus four years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Licensed as a registered architect or proven steps toward licensure, preferably in Ohio.
  • Knowledge of building systems and materials.
  • Proficient in Revit with 3D modeling skills in Sketch Up and/or Rhino.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

    Ability to produce design intent renderings and design concept diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a LEED Accredited Professional by the USGBC.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, open office work environment.
  • Diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
  • Relocation is not available for this position.
  • Occasional travel is required.
  • This position will not offer sponsorship now or in the future.
