Project Architect

Position Overview

Project Architect on the Architecture team at OHM Advisors. Involved in the design process from start to finish on a variety of project types and complexities, including municipal, K‑12 educational campuses, multi‑family housing, healthcare, hospitality, residential, and office uses. Projects are focused on advancing communities and often involve public‑private partnership mixed‑use developments.

• Coordinate team efforts to complete projects promptly and successfully.
• Design and draft project plans and presentations.
• Develop work plans, schedules, and budgets for project management related to technical tasks of the scope of services.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control of project deliverables as directed.
• Meet with clients to determine scope, review plans and presentations, and act as intermediary between client and the architectural team.
• Stay abreast of and maintain expertise in industry‑specific standards, codes, permit‑agency requirements, and community requirements.
• Possess a strong understanding of OHM services and relate them to client needs.

• Experience with public or private sector project types.
• Knowledge and practical experience in the application of design procedures, practices, and standards.
• Experienced in architectural design, detailing, and documentation of new buildings, restoration, and renovation projects.
• Able to assist with business development efforts.
• Strong leadership, communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
