Compensation: $16.93 per hour (undergraduate) or $20.59 per hour (graduate). It is a part‑time internship typically 20 hours per week or less.
Schedule:
Part‑time; days vary Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM, with flexibility for school schedule.
- Electronically design brochures, manuals, posters, flyers, forms and publications using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator based on rough drafts.
- Create custom layouts for wall artwork requests based on wall size specifications.
- Edit final material for accuracy and make revisions as necessary.
- Document project progress using Smartsheet.
- Assist with framing, printing, and laminating of small in‑house requests.
- Prepare production‑ready files, including packaging InDesign files and exporting assets in PDF, PNG, or EPS format.
- Organize and maintain the department’s digital asset library (logos, photos, templates) to ensure consistent usage.
- Perform basic photo retouching and color correction for print and digital materials.
- Update existing design templates with new content or branding or leadership elements.
- Work on team projects as well as independent projects.
- Major/Field of Study:
Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Communications, Electronic Design, Commercial Art, or Marketing. - Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university.
- In good standing with the college/university.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- Enrolled in at least one course.
- Committed to completing the degree or finishing the degree.
