Senior Project Manager / Operations Leader

Location: Columbus, OH

We're looking to add a Senior Project Manager who will play a key leadership role in the future of our practice. This is more than a traditional project management position—it's an opportunity to mentor a talented team, lead our most significant projects, and help shape the day-to-day operations of the firm alongside ownership.

We're seeking someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a culture built on collaboration, trust, and technical excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Lead large, complex architectural projects from programming through construction administration.
  • Serve as the firm's senior technical resource, providing guidance and mentorship to project managers, architects, and emerging professionals.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, staffing, consultant coordination, and client communication.
  • Maintain high standards for technical quality, documentation, and project delivery.
  • Partner closely with firm leadership on operational initiatives, workflow improvements, and strategic planning.
  • Help develop and strengthen internal standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive office culture where mentorship and teamwork are priorities.

What We're Looking For

  • 20–30+ years of architectural experience with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex architectural projects through all phases.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, construction documents, building codes, and construction administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop project teams.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Experience contributing to firm operations, staffing, business planning, or leadership is highly preferred.
  • Registered Architect preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of current project delivery methods.

Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to step into a true leadership role within an established architecture firm—not simply manage projects, but help shape the future of the practice. You'll work directly alongside ownership, mentor the next generation of architects, and have a meaningful impact on both project delivery and firm operations.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, technically strong, and invested in developing others. Culture fit is essential, and we're looking for someone who wants to build long-term relationships, strengthen the team, and leave a lasting impact on the firm.
